I have a grey fox plushy that has a little book attached to her ear which gives a rough translation of the Miwok tribe's creation myth. Grey Fox decides to create the earth so she makes a little clump of dirt, then gets Coyote to help her sing and dance until it becomes huge and filled with thing that interest her.

I thought it would make a great painting, so I painted it.
