I painted this dhole on Yupo paper. it is really weird stuff to work on.

I really love the depth you got and man those colors look rich!
The best part of this is the intense darkness behind the figure and the way the side of the face away from the viewer is so shrouded in darkness as well. Top notch stuff.

OMG You made something coherent with it! Good job!

I have an entire pad of this stuff that I can't think of anything that will stick to put on it. My experiments with watercolors and/or alcohol-based markers failed miserably. What did you use here? Ink and ?? Seriously, tell us!

well, I started with watercolors, but they looked really washed out and I couldn't build up any glazing because the first color would just wash away when the new one was dropped in, so I added acrylic on top of the watercolor. All in all I like the effect, kind of loose and painterly like that.
